Anthony N. Valenza

On June 25, 2017, Anthony N. Valenza Sr., 85, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his residence in Willow Grove. He is survived his wife Mary Patricia Valenza (nee O’Meara Gershanick), children R. Samuel Valenza, Sr (Alice), Anthony N Valenza, Jr. (Milina), Michael J. Valenza (Donna), Lisa M. DePaul (Glenn), Lenora A. Rosenbaum (Michael), and Dorothy R. McGuckin (Francis J.) all from Upper Moreland Township. He is also survived by his sisters Marie Masten of Horsham, and Josephine Thoreson of Manahawkin, NJ.

Poppy will be sadly missed by his 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of forty-eight years Dorothy A. Valenza (nee McNeil), parents Rosario and Lenora (nee Panzica) Valenza, and a brother Nicholas Valenza.

He was the Owner and President of Bux-Mont Transportation Services Company (Willow Grove Yellow Cab), a fourth generation  family owned business in Willow Grove .

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday June 28, 2017  from 4pm to 8pm, and Thursday June 29, 2017 from 830am to 1030am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090.

Interment in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd., Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St David RC Church at the above address.

Additional parking will be available will be available on Wednesday night at Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA, 405 N. Easton Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090 (just across the street from the funeral home), or St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090 (1 block south of the funeral home)
