Aram Avedis Aghazarian

Dr. Aram Avedis Aghazarian of Elkins Park, PA., and Lincolnville, Maine, passed away on Sunday December 3, 2017 after a short illness at Abington Memorial Hospital.  He was surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Lucy (nee Mardikian) and his devoted children Aram Alan and Lori Lucy.

Dr. Aghazarian was a faculty member of Temple University for over 45 years during which he served as Chair of the Department of Strategic Communications for 12 years, and retiring in 2008.  He was a senior consultant at Martel and Associates, a communication consulting firm. 

Dr. Aghazarian received his BS and MA from Temple University and his PhD from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. 

He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict.

A graveside serve was held at West Laurel Hill Cemetery on December 8, 2017.
