Mary Elizabeth (Gordon) Lynn

Mary E. Lynn (Gordon), 94 years old, died peacefully in her home on Friday, May 5, 2017. For 70 years she was the bride of Paul Lynn, who lovingly cared for her until her last breath. She is survived by her son Paul, her daughter-in-law, Frankie, and her grandchildren Fiona and Owen; her son Mark; and her daughter, Teresa, her son-in-law, Ken Plunkett, and her grandchildren, Dan, Tim and Meghan, and Mary.

Mary worked as a secretary for Frankford Arsenal, J. A. Cunningham Equipment, and in later years for Temple University Ambler Bookstore. Her true vocation was wife and mother.  Her years of dancing with her husband (they met at the Swing Club in Philadelphia), sharing life, and raising a family brought her joy. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and genealogy. Her nature was one of caring, gratitude, and love. Her beautiful smile and laugh and her gentle wit will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine of Siena Church at 321 Witmer Rd., Horsham, PA 19044 at 11 AM, on Wednesday May 10, 2017. Friends and relatives are invited to greet the family at the church from 10am to 11 AM. Burial will be private.
