Anna Marie (Flanagan) Bade of Willow Grove died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008. She was 73.
Marie, as family and friends called her, loved life to the fullest and lived that way right to the end.
She was a wife and friend to her husband, Edward Bade, who preceded her in death in 2001.
She was a mother and most of all a friend to their eight children, Edward Bade Jr. (Karen) of Glenside, Ann Marie Hoffman of Willow Grove, Ellie Cardano of Palmyra, N.J., Thomas Bade (Cheryl) of Roslyn, Theresa Shaffer (Steve) of Harleysville, Joanne Smale (Ron) of Willow Grove, Vincent Bade of Montgomeryville, and Mary Long (Dan) of Sellersville.
Marie and Edward had 13 grandchildren, Jeffery, Matthew, Timothy, Robert Jr., Angela (Jere) of Jacksonville, N.C., Kyra, Cassidy, Darcy, Dillon, Brandon, Erik, James, and Allyson.
"Although she had the opportunity to watch the older grandchildren grow up and turn into some fantastic young adults, we know that she will be watching over the younger ones and guiding them through life as an angel on their shoulder."
Beside her children and grandchildren, Marie is survived by her brother, Joe Flanagan (Dot) of Horsham.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at John J. Bryers Funeral Home,
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Manor,
