Lorraine M. Dutko passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, at Jeanes Hospital after a courageous fight. She was 66. Lorraine was the beloved wife of Robert Dutko for 24 years; and adoring mother to son, Richard Cox. She will be sadly missed by her mother, Olga Meckes; and brothers, Joseph, Steven, William, and Victor Meckes. She was a gift to her step-children and their spouses, Carol and Glenn Magee and Tricia and Jeff Dutko; and to the wife of her son, Tara Cox. Affectionately known as "Mum Mum", she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Sydney, Ethan, Ava, Whitman, and Teaghan. After serving Bell Telephone for 27 years and Parker-Amchem for 10, Lorraine retired, with her husband, at the age of 55. She celebrated life to the fullest and particularly enjoyed traveling, golf outings, and the simple pleasures which came from spending time with her grandchildren. Her zest for life, contagious enthusiasm, and abundant generosity made her adored by all she met. She had a knack for bringing out the best in everyone. Relatives and friends are invited to call at 10 a.m. Wednesday at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N. Easton Road in Willow Grove, where a memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in Lorraine's name to the Temple Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Jeanes Hospital.
