Dorothy Jean Goudy, formerly of Willow Grove passed away on November 19, 2008 at the Southampton Estates, PA and is now with God and her beloved husband John Nelson. Jean, as she was known to all, was born in Brooklyn in 1924, daughter if the late Florence V. and Edward F. Krause, and was raised in Denver and Baldwin, NY. She was graduated from Bucknell University in 1946. She married John Nelson ‘Hank” Goudy in 1948 and was predeceased by him in 1971. She is survived by her loving children David of Southport, NC, Susan of Willow Grove, PA, John of Blackwood, NJ, Jeffrey of Blackwood, NJ, and Debra of Vineland, NJ, as well as four adored grandchildren, Peter Giunta and wife Jennifer, Michael Giunta, Dominic Giunta, and Amy Giunta. One grandson, John passed away in 2000. After she raised her children Jean worked for Kemner Cards and Gifts in Southampton and Alston’s in Willow Grove. She was a congregant at Willow Grove United Methodist Church for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Saturday November 22, 2008 at 10am at Southampton Estates.
