Daniel James Hedrick Jr. of Willow Grove passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009. He was 32.

He was a former altar server at St. John of the Cross Church in Roslyn and was involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America up to age 17 in Troop 437.

He loved camping, fishing, and boating, but his true passion was cooking. He was employed at the Farmhouse Tavern, Doylestown.

Daniel also rebuilt a 1979 Oldsmobile Cutless Supreme with his father and was very proud of it.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce E. (Flynn) Hedrick of Willow Grove; his father, James J. Hedrick Sr. of Bensalem; his maternal grandparents, Francis and Dorothy (Hummel) Flynn; his brother, Kevin Hedrick; his sister, Jessica Hedrick; and his nephew, Anthony Pham. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald and Theda (Tyndall) Hedrick.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, March 27, at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N. Easton Road, Willow Grove. His funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St. David Roman Catholic Church, 316 N. Easton Road, Willow Grove. Interment will be held privately.
