James T. McGinty Sr. 88, on April 30, 2010. He is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years Anna G. (nee Wondering), his sons James (Ann), Gary (Gail), Daniel (Ruth), and Matthew (Theresa), his grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Ryan, Corey, Megan, Shaun, Troy, Casey, Tim, and Michelle, and his great grandchildren Shannon, Maura, Cassidy, Aidan, Brooke, Darcy, Griffin, and Colin. He was preceded in death by his son John, and his father James T. and his mother Josephine G. (nee Kenna). James was a decorated Army Air Force veteran of WWII. For many years he was an auto mechanic and owner of McGinty’s Mobile Station in Ambler. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. An active member and mentor in a 12 step program for three decades. Retired to Ocean City, NJ for 20 years, before moving to New Hope in 2003. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Friday May 7, 2010 from 830am to 930am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090. Funeral Mass to follow at 10am at St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090. Interment to be private.
