Anne G. McGinty (nee Anna G. Woodring) 86, died July 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 67 years, James T. Mc Ginty Sr., and her son John. Anne is survived by her sons; James (Ann), Gary (Gail), Daniel (Ruth), Matthew (Theresa); her grandchildren Michael, Kelly, Ryan, Corey, Megan, Shaun, Troy, Casey, Tim, Michelle; her great-grandchildren Shannon, Maura, Cassidy, Aidan, Brooke, Darcy, Griffin and Colin. Anne was a 1942 graduate of Little Flower High School and a former 30-year residence of Hatboro and St. David’s Parish. She was a busy homemaker, raising five sons and often working part time jobs from home. She eventually ran the administrations/operations of her husband’s McGinty’s Mobil Oil service station business in Ambler, Pa for over a decade. Anne and her husband retired to the New Jersey shore so they could host and enjoy family visits to the beach. After 20 years, they moved to New Hope Pa., to be closer to family. Anne’s greatest joy in life was being with her husband and her family, especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an extremely likable person to everyone she came in contact with and well known for her vivaciousness, good spirit, and insatiable liveliness-“they broke the mould when they made Anne”. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Saturday July 10th 9:00 AM to 9:45AM visitation at Byrers Funeral Home, 406 North Easton Road. Willow Grove Pa. 215-659-1630. 10 AM mass at St Davids church 316 Easton Rd, Willow Grove.
