Charles E. Meade, 80 , a long time resident of Willow Grove, after a long illness on November 9, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Jean Meade (McNulty), his children Pamela Vollum (Jeffrey), Jeffrey P. Meade (Diane), Michael Meade (Kathleen), and Charles “Mac” Meade (Maureen), his grandchildren Jamie Vollum, Jenna Vollum, Sarah Meade, Andrew Meade, Shane Meade, Chelsea Meade, Maggie Meade, Erin Meade, and Bridget Meade, his brothers Kenneth Meade (Sirry), and Joseph Meade (Nancy), his sisters Catherine Wehrl, and Marjorie “Midge” Meade, and his 29 nieces and nephews. Charles was a veteran of the US Army Air Force. He worked for Norwich Pharmaceutical Co., retired as a US Postal Carrier in 1991, and worked part time at Prudential Life Insurance in Horsham. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday November 12, 2008 from 830am to 10am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home 406 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090. Funeral Mass to follow at 1030am at St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd.., Willow Grove PA 19090. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. David Church, c/o Youth Group, Att. Msgr. Bolger at the above address.
