Concettina Silvestri (nee DelSignore), 77, died peacefully on August 26, 2008.  She was born in Introdacqua (L'Aquila, Italy).  She is a 50 year resident of Willow Grove and loyal parishioner of St. David R.C. Church.  She moved from Italy at the age of 17 to reside in Wilmington, DE where she would meet her husband of 51 years, Felice Silvestri. 

  Besides her husband, she is survived by her children Lisa Silvestri, Leo Silvestri (Sharon), Laura Pflugfelder (David), and her grandchildren Tricia, Anthony, Nicholas, Jonathan, Alexa, and Jennifer.  She was preceded in death by her parents Domenico and Settimia DelSignore, and her sister Irena DelSignore.  

After retiring as a seamstress/quality control inspector at Alfred Angelo Inc., Concettina loved most caring for her grandchildren and preparing large meals for her family and friends. Along with her husband she helped her children open Silvestri’s Restaurant in Horsham.  She participated with her husband in the Sons of Italy, Central Bucks Benjamin J. Vestresca Lodge 2271.  

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Saturday morning from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N. Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090.  Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10 am at St. David R.C. Church, 316 N. Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090.  Interment to follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.   In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. David Church and School at the above address.  www.bryersfh.com
