William C. “Bud” Spanninger Jr., 84, of Hatboro, died of Melanoma on July 15, 2007.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years Kathleen M. Spanninger (nee McHale), his sons William C. Spanninger III (Torie) of Horsham, and Mark J. Spanninger (Marge) of Fairfax VA., his grandchildren Colleen Ounan (Sean), Monica, Matthew, Patrick, Shane, Siobhan, James, and John, and his great grandchildren Grace, Brigid, and Sienna.

 

William was born in Philadelphia.  He graduated from Germantown High School in 1942.  He started out as an apprentice & Tool and Die Maker for Heintz MFG in Philadelphia.  He later worked for 38 years in the Engineering Dept of Honeywell Industrial Division in Fort Washington.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday July 18, 2007 from 930am to 1030am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd Willow Grove PA 19090.  Interment to be held in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
