Arlene (Goldman) Jorgensen

Arlene Jorgensen, 83, passed away peacefully at The Landing in Willow Grove, PA, on Thursday, May 9, 2019, with her loving family by her side. She was born and raised in Philadelphia Pa and the surrounding suburbs.

Wife of the late Ole Jorgensen; devoted and loving mother of Robin, Barbara (David), Susan (Bob), Andrea and Renee (Brad), survived by 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arlene was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. For 35 years she worked as a nurse at Abington hospital as well as a local pediatrician. She spent her entire life caring for others. She also volunteered for the Upper Moreland Little League, football and cheerleading teams. Arlene was an amazing cook and always made everyone feel welcome in her home. Arlene loved the beach; she was an avid gardner, and she loved music.

Hannah Jorgensen held a special place in Arlene’s heart and is very fortunate to have been raised with Arlene’s endless love and support.

She loved her Schnauzer, Diamond Lily, and Lily remained a big part of Arlene’s life.

Funeral Services for Arlene will be private.
