Fred Vandegrift

Fred P. Vandegrift, 91, of Warminster passed on from this life into life eternal on December 17, 2017.  He was surrounded by family in his final days.  Fred is survived by his children, Janice V. Weller (Keith), Sharon L. Vandegrift (Erik Cheever), Lauren V. Donaldson (Thomas), and his grandchildren Mark Weller, Paige Cameron (Allen), Nicholas Weller, Erin Cheever and Allen Vandegrift.  Fred was predeceased by his wife, Edith and his grandson, Douglass Vandegrift.

Fred will be remembered for his laughter and light-hearted joke telling, his delight in sharing home grown vegetables with his family and friends, and his unwavering dedication during 32 years of service to General Motors Insurance Corporation.  But, mostly, Fred's commitment, love and pride for his family, and his faith in God were what defined him.  He will be greatly missed.

Fred's family is especially thankful for the care and compassion of the staff at the Rose Gardens at Ann's Choice where he had resided since 2015.

There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 12 noon at Willow Grove United Methodist Church, 34 N. York Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090.  Visitation from 11:30 AM.  Interment is private.  In lieu of flowers donations to Willow Grove United Methodist Church (see earlier address).
