Jack Bray Jr., of Willow Grove, PA, passed away on January 29, 2019 at the age of 70. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sandra Bray (nee Onimus); his three children, Julie Ludwig (Matthew), Jeffrey (Amanda), and Kevin (Lindsay); sister, Louise Bray; and his five grandchildren, Ian and Colin Ludwig, Hayden and Arabella Bray, and Austin Bray. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Jack Sr., and his brother, Daniel.
Jack was a US Army veteran, having served in Fulda, Germany. He enjoyed a 45 year career serving the public as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Willow Grove, PA. After his retirement, Jack worked part-time at the Willow Grove CVS.
Jack will be lovingly remembered as a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His generous heart, infectious smile and big personality will live on in the memories of all who knew him. Jack’s commitment to his family was only surpassed by the unparalleled love he showed them. Being ‘Poppy’, as those closest to him would affectionately call him, was his greatest gift.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service on February 4, 2019 at 7:00pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Rd., Willow Grove, PA 19090. Visitation from 5:30pm to 6:45pm.
