Jean Botta

Jean Botta, 87, of Willow Grove, passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by family on Thursday, November 14, 2019.  She was the oldest daughter of Sophia Nobel, and grew up in Philadelphia. She was predeceased by her siblings Patricia (Charles) DePaolo and Bonnie (Marty) Adams and is survived by Joyce (Larry) Malageri. She was the beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Hens; loving mother of Donna (John) Iacona; devoted Nan of Richard (Amie) Lacovara, Devon (Mike) O’Malley and Eric (Kristin) Lacovara; Nana/Grammy of Leah and Sophie Lacovara, Colin and Savannah O’Malley and Shyla and Vayda Lacovara. Also survived by her nephews/nieces Larry Malageri, Melissa (Bob) Reed, Chuck (Melissa) DePaolo, Trisha (Tom) Lamb, Don (Michelle) DePaolo, and Mickie (Jeff) Mich.

To know your great-grandchildren is a sign of a blessed life – Jean embraced this and cherished her time and connections with all six of hers - Colin, Leah, Savannah, Sophie, Shyla and Vayda.

Jean will be remembered most for her sense of humor, her loving personality and always being there for her family.  She will be deeply missed.

Visitation on Saturday November 23, 2019 from 11am to 11:45am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  Memorial Service to follow at 12pm.
