John A. Volpe

John A. Volpe, 81, of Hatboro, on July 17, 2017. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Volpe (nee McCormick), children Regina M. Grey (Scott), Steve P. Volpe, Joe C. Volpe (Linda), Roseann V. Smith (Trey), sisters Anna E. Castagna (Michael), and Emily Feeney, a brother Anthony S. Volpe (Sue), grandchildren Erica (Joe), John Thomas, Sharon, Domenic, Kenny, Edward, Marina, Anthony, and Annamarie, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother Carmen Volpe.

 He was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, at St Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.  He was as a scout leader at St. David's Boy Scout Troop 305 for many years, and was awarded the St. George Award for Scouting.  He also volunteered for years as a little league coach and umpire and as a swimming official at the YMCA.  John was also a Eucharistic minister at St. David Church.

 John was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

 Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday July 25, 2017 from 9am to 10:30am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090.  Funeral Mass to follow at 11am at St. David RC Church, 316 N Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090.

 Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
