Angelo A Ballerino Jr. of Willow Grove, PA peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Abington Hospital. He was born on June 4, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Angelo and Jennie (D’Arcangelo) Ballerino and siblings Albina Ballerino, Marie Hill, and Louisa Esposito. He is survived by his children Angela (John) Layre, Joyce Phelps, William (Late Eleanor) Ballerino, Angelo J (Debra) Ballerino, Cynthia (Tim) VanTrieste, Joan (Jeremy) Lomax. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren (Late Jimmy), Anthony, Joey, Brittney (Rick), Billy, Kimberly, Andrew, MaryKate, John (Becky), Will, Timmy, Brianna, Christina, Vincent, 7 great grandchildren Shawn, Ricky, Dominic, Emersyn, Angelo, Oliver, Violet, and a host of nieces and nephews and very special relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
Angelo was loved by all and lived a full life. He was known for his sense of humor, love for westerns, feeding the squirrels, fishing, going to the casino, the Phillies, and his weekend breakfasts at The Eagle Diner with his favorite waitress (Jen).
Angelo was a dedicated machine operator at Gross-Givens (RMI) in Warminster, PA for over 50 years and made numerous friends over the years.
Angelo was a proud Army Veteran who received an Army Occupation Medal in Germany and a National Defense Service Medal.
Relatives and friends will be received by his family on Thursday, March 30th for visitation from 9:30am to 10:30am. Funeral mass to follow at 10:30am at St. David RC Church in Willow Grove, PA. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, PA (Military Ceremony).
Angelo will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
