Anthony J. Mele

Anthony J. Mele, 90, of Ann’s Choice, and formerly of Fort Washington, passed on October 2, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Maria T. “Marie” Mele.

He is survived by his children Frank (Claire), Dr. Mark (Colleen), and Dr. Carl (Dr. Aparna), grandchildren Madelena, Dr. Anthony (Jenna), Alessandra, Sophia, Isabella, Nisha, and Luca, brothers Mario (Carolyn) and Michael, and a sister Ann Wiser (Tom).

He was also preceded in death by his brother Salvatore.

Anthony was a US Army Veteran.  He worked for over 30 years with the Army Corp of Engineers.  He loved gardening, dancing, and playing pinochle.

The family is most appreciative of the wonderful support and care administered to Dad by the aides from Loving Arms Elderly Care for the past few years.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at 11am on October 15, 2021 at St. Alphonsus RC Church, 33 Conwell Dr, Maple Glen, PA 19002.  Viewing in church from 10am to 11am.

Interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
