Arthur J. Metzler A.K.A. (Auturo) of Warminster, PA died July 04, 2025, He was 94.

Art was a resident at Christ Home since 2000 where he made many friends through-out the years.  Born in McKeesport, PA He was the son of the late Clearance and Sara Metzler and a brother to the late Sonny, Nancy and Dolores.

Art was a Hospitalman in the Navy from 1952-1955.  Later he became a Charter Life Underwriter (American College) for John Hancock and was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table for his high standards and Professional Competence.

Arts Passion in life was his music, Art was a DJ For 20 years for WRDV-FM where he played Big Band Ballets and Love songs of the 30’ 40’s 50’s.  He was Known as “ART JAMES EASY STREET” when Art signed off for the last time at WRDV he played “Don’t worry about me” and “Until we meet again”

Art also belonged to the Copper Penny Players for many years where they would meet once a week to practice a song and then put on a Revue for people to come and enjoy.

When able he loved to play a good game of Golf.

Little things that made Art happy was his Red Maple Tree, watching the Birds feed and the Deer roam his yard, playing his Martin, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, a glass of Chianti, reading the Enquirer, meeting up with his friends once a month for lunch and Listening to Siriusly Sinatra.

Art was married to the late Patricia Ann Delaney Metzler who passed in 2013.

Art is survived by his son Jay (Trish) Quakertown, PA, Three step-sons, Larry (Becky) Hanson, Fort Dodge, Iowa, Randy Hanson, Philadelphia, PA and Christopher Keebaugh, Illinois

Five Step-Grand children, Cliff, Jackie, Kim, Stephen, Leslie, Two Grandsons, Leigh (Katherine) Ringoes NJ, Colt, FSTRVL/TRVOSE, One Great Grandson who he Adored immensely, Liam

And his former Daughter-n-law Lisa Anderson, who was a big part of his life.

Art’s family will receive condolences from 10:30 a.m. until his service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 02, 2025 Smyth Hall, at Christ Home, 1 Shepherd’s Way, Warminster, PA 18974
