Artyush Andranikovich Abramyan, 63, of Fountainville, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 18, 2026.
Artyush was born on May 7, 1962 in Kirovobad, Azerbaijan SSR, to Andranik and Firuza Abramyan. Artyush had a life filled with war, turmoil and hardship, but remained kind, loving and caring through it all. In 1988, he relocated to Timashevsk, Russia with his young family. He was a truck driver for many years, then worked as a shoe salesman, and in his later years, a school bus driver. He was a disciplined, committed, and reliable man, a dreamer and a philosopher. He was open-minded, humble, and loved God. His lifelong dream was to live in the United States, and in 2025 he was finally able to permanently immigrate with his wife. He spent his time in the US being a full-time grandfather. He loved his grandchildren and spent his last days surrounded by love and care.
Artyush loved World War II movies and old Soviet comedies with Nikulin. He loved nature, animals, and walking outside. His favorite food was bread, butter, cheese and eggs with buckwheat.
Artyush is survived by his wife Iskui, his children Firuza, Suzana and Margarita, his siblings Konstantin, Emma, and Mila, sons-in-law: William Katsak and Dmitriy Myasnikov, and his grandchildren Sasha, Bill, Lily, Artur, Rosie, and Leo.
