Barbara Ann (Hemsley) Henne

We said goodbye to our most loved Barbara A. (Hemsley) Henne on Monday, February 16, 2026. Barbara was born in Philadelphia and grew up outside Chicago, eventually returning to the area.  She married her husband, Edward of almost 50 years and was the most amazing mother of four children. She will remembered as a loving & caring wife, mother, aunt, sister, and friend, especially as a grandmother to Gabbie, Carter, and Aubree. She loved the snow and the beach and enjoyed a wide range of hobbies including sewing, crocheting, mahjong, Bocce, bowling, painting, gardening and wine tasting.   She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and friend.

Barbara is preceded by her husband Edward A. Henne, Jr. and is survived by her four children, Jeffrey Henne, Pamela Long (John), Patricia Henne, and Danielle Catagnus and her three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Carter and Aubree. She is also survived by her siblings William Hemsley, Stephen Hemsley (Barbara), Michael Hemsley (Carol), Katherine Hemsley, Mary Christopher Hemsley, Andrea Giacomucci (Stephen) and preceded by her parents William and Patricia Hemsley.

A Mass will be held Thursday, March 5, at 10:30am at St. David’s Church, Willow Grove, PA where friends may call from 9:30am until the time of the Mass. Burial will be private.
