Obituary for Bryan C. Delp
Bryan Charles Delp was born in Chestnut Hill, Pa., on Oct. 11, 1982. He was a graduate of North Penn High School and attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
Bryan passed away 43 years to the day of his birth under tragic circumstances.
He was the son of William (of Bradenton, Fla.) and Barbara Delp (of Willow Grove, PA). He was the brother of (the late) Carrie Delp and Susanna (Susie) Delp (of Hatboro, Pa.) and her husband Doug Nalbandian. Bryan was also the uncle of Ari and Natalie Nalbandian.
Bryan had a great talent for art, preferring sketching and charcoal work. He also tried his hand at tattoos – on his body and paper. His musical tastes started with Wu Tang and rounded out with “Devil Went Down to Georgia” and “Ode to Billy Jo” – a nod to his mother’s southern roots.
Bryan had a great love for animals – from his family dogs to the sweet pit bull, Layla, that he rescued while living in Philadelphia.
Bryan loved ice hockey, playing for the Ice Dogs and North Penn High School. That made him a natural Flyer’s fan. He tried to support his parents’ love for Philly sports, but his first love was always the Dallas Cowboys. He proudly wore the Cowboys jersey of Emmitt Smith and Terrell Owens (sorry, Dad. Mom didn’t care as she was born in Texas).
Bryan will be greatly missed for his humor and love for others. In his later years, he came back to his faith. He proudly carried a rosary given to him by his Uncle John Bastone and always requested a Bible when his was lost. And with the simplest of faith, he prayed everyday: “And let Jesus have a good day.”
Amen, Bryan.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday October 18, 2025 from 10:30am to 11am at Calvary Presbyterian Church. 405 Easton RD. Willow Grove, PA 19090. Memorial Service will follow at 11am.
Interment is private.
