Carol A. Pullen 86, of Willow Grove,PA., passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Abington/Jefferson Hospital. She was the beloved mother of Allison A. Henegan and grandmother to William P. Henhoeffer, Jr..
Carol was born March 22,1938 in Cornwall on Hudson, NY, to Alanson and Elda (Van Slyke) Pullen. Her family moved several times during her childhood finally settling in Oreland, PA, where Carol would graduate as a member of the first graduating class of Upper Dublin High School in 1955. She then attended Beaver College (now Arcadia University) and Pierce Business School. Carol would go on to serve the business community as secretary for the Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce.
Known for her warmth, kind heart and ingratiating smile, Carol was always willing to lend a hand. Those in the business community knew her as a hard worker always willing to help others stand out, putting theirs before her own aspirations and always accepting responsibilities above and beyond.
At home and with close friends and family, Carol was no less warm and kind hearted. She cared deeply for her only daughter and grandson. She was loved by her neighbors and was accommodating to their needs.
Carol is survived by her loving daughter Allison A. Henegan (Michael); grandson William P. Henhoeffer, Jr.; Sister in law Lou Ann Pullen; Nephew Andrew Pullen (Hayley). She is predeceased by her parents and brothers Alan and Robert Pullen.
A celebration of life will be announced in the near future.
