Carol Lynne Zimmer Obituary
Carol Lynne Zimmer (nee Smith), 70, passed on March 5, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Charles M. Smith and Carolyn Prickitt Smith.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence "Larry" Zimmer, her sons Steven Zimmer, and Mark Zimmer, and her brother Richard D. Smith ( Christine).
Lynne, as most people knew her, graduated from Rugeters University, Douglas College and shortly thereafter married the love of her life Larry in October 1978. Through 46 years of marriage together, they resided in Medford, raised 2 sons, and owned Oakshade Nursery, Inc where Lynne helped run the business. Her passion for the garden center was her love of plants, flowers, and her interest in new and different things to bring color to her own yard. She was an active parent in raising both sons being involved in things like school talent shows, volunteering for functions, school plays, amongst many other things. Lynne’s loved spending time at the shore, and loved the summers spent at the beach in Ocean City where they owned a condo for many years. Her love for the shore came from her parents, something that she passed on to both her sons. She was well known and loved by all that knew her with so many fond memories. Lynne’s loving spirit and sharp wit will be missed by all.
Visitation and Celebration of life will be held at the home of Steven Zimmer on Wednesday March 12th between 11am – 3pm. Address is 19 Cooper Street, Haddon Township, NJ 08108.
