Catharina W. Bonner

Catharina Bonner passed away peacefully on May 15, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on October 28, 1938 in the Netherlands.  She was predeceased by her loving parents, Theo & Maria, and her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Cornelius (Neil) Bonner.  She met Neil while he was stationed in Holland and they moved to Willow Grove, PA in 1967. 

Catharina was a travel agent and therefore her and Neil traveled all over the world and especially loved going on cruises.  She loved animals, especially cats, and also loved birdwatching, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family & friends.  She especially loved playing games with her granddaughter & great-grandchildren when she traveled to see them.

She is survived by her 2 sisters, Marijke & Gemma, and 2 nephews, Kenneth & Berry, all from Holland. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Cornelia, granddaughter Lori and her husband Matt, great-grandchildren, Landon & Maria, nephew Larry, along with other loving family & dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America, your local animal shelter, or to Friends of Pennypack Farm in Philadelphia, where she volunteered for many years.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 4pm-5pm with funeral service following at 5pm at John J. Bryers Funeral Home in Willow Grove, PA and burial service will be on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 9:15am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
