Catherine (Nodes) Nuccio

CATHERINE ANNE NUCCIO, 64, of Willow Grove, passed on January 26, 2022. 

She is survived by her husband Kerry Nuccio, her brothers Dr. Henry A. Nodes (Sandy) Simpsonville, South Carolina, and Robert J. Nodes, Chattanooga, Tennessee, her 6 cousins and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry A. Nodes, Sr., and Harriet C. Nodes, and a brother William M. Nodes.

Catherine was born into a loving family, the last of four children of Harriet and Harry Nodes, ten years after the birth of their youngest son, Robert. She was adored by her three “big brothers” and at an early stage of her life, showed off the key traits and hallmarks of what would be her adult personality. She possessed natural leadership abilities, brilliant intellect, and patience and understanding that marked her relationships throughout her life with both friends and co-workers. After completing only three years of High School in Norwalk, Connecticut, she was given “early admission” to Loyola University of the South, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and after completion of her freshman year there, she earned her High School Diploma with her original class. While at Loyola, she met the love of her life, Kerry Nuccio, and they were married on May 20, 1978 in New Orleans, and enjoyed almost 44 years of happiness together until her untimely passing.

She was a loyal and valued employee with Matt Blatt Auto for more than 16 years, and during her professional career, she enjoyed the friendships of countless numbers of coworkers and other business professionals who mourn her passing.

She will be missed most of all by her husband and her brothers who survive her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at 10:30am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090.  Viewing in church from 930am to 10:30am.

Burial will take place at a later date in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
