Charles Joseph Koenig

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Joseph Koenig Jr or “CJ” as everyone fondly knew him on November 2, 2024 from a sudden illness.

CJ lived in Willow Grove and grew up in Springfield, PA.  He loved his family and was a wonderful father to his son, Charlie, 3 years, and his partner of 25 years Ann.

CJ loved the outdoors and turned skills his father taught him into a long landscaping career at various companies. He loved being a father so much that he chose to be a stay at home dad for almost 2 years. He created memories and experiences with his son Charlie that he will always be able to treasure. He enjoyed going on adventures with his family whether it was the mountains, shore, lake, a walk in the woods, petting zoo or listening to live music. He was the type of man who was a friend to everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Joseph Koenig and survived by his son Charles Joseph Labant Koenig, wife Ann Labant, dog Gem, mother Patricia Koenig, siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. As well as Phil and Patty Labant and their extended family, friends and fraternity brothers from Delta Sigma Phi.

Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday November 23, 2024 at the Jarrettown Hotel, Dresher, PA (casual dress) From 1p.m. until 4 p.m.
