David Adams

David (Dave) Adams, 78, of Morrell Park, passed away on July 4th.

Dave was born on September 24, 1944, to Robert and Hilda Adams in Philadelphia. Dave was a retired Philadelphia firefighter and owner of A&M Painting.

Dave was predeceased by his wife, Ruth Adams, and sisters Karen Becker and Christine Cassidy

He is survived by his longtime partner, Amanda (Mandy) Thackeray Donahue, and children, JoAnn Andris, David Adams, and Donna Stadlin. Brother Stephen Adams), Step-children Monique Marchand and Denise O’Donnell and 9 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.

Dave’s life was too big and full to capture into words. He was beloved by so many for his generous spirit, kind heart, and impeccable sense of humor. Anyone who met him left the conversation with a new friend and a joke to tell. He was happiest when he was spending time with his family, cheering on all the Philadelphia sports teams, fishing, and spoiling his dogs.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Tuesday July 11, 2023 from 12pm to 1pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 1pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.
