David Donofrio Obituary

David Philip Donofrio, 68, was called to his heavenly home on October 2, 2020. He left the arms of his wife and daughters and entered into the presence of his Savior. His devotion to his family and his faith in the Lord were the driving passions in his life and ultimately brought him to everlasting peace.

David was born to the late Philip Donofrio, and his surviving mother, Catherine Castenova Donofrio on June 3, 1952 in Norristown P.A. At a young age he found his love for music and became an avid musician and singer. He loved making others happy with his God given talent and began singing for people at a young age. Throughout high school he pursued his love for entertaining by becoming the lead singer of his band. David went on to college and graduated from Temple University with a degree in business. He worked for many years in sales, eventually finding his love for medical sales. His time in and out of hospitals gave him an appreciation for life and he learned to never take a single day for granted. He later found another passion in martial arts and became a third degree black belt in Taekwondo.

David was blessed with a loving family, he had three adoring daughters who he helped raise with patience and humility. He always coached their sports when they were young and took them on daddy-daughter vacations. On October 2, 2011, he married his love, Mimi Mckenna Donofrio. They enjoyed their precious time together and shared their love with their many family and friends. They were blessed with eight grandchildren who they had the joy of watching grow over the last ten years.

David was a loving husband, an amazing father and grandfather and a beloved son, brother and friend. He was a kind and humble man who loved his family dearly. He radiated with joy in every circumstance. David is deeply missed by his loved ones, who celebrate his incredible life and legacy. We find hope in God's promise of seeing him again in glory one day. Until then we will continue his legacy and live with the kind of love and joy David did. We love you so much our amazing Husband, Dad, Dandie, Popie, Skinny, Double D, Bum.

David is survived by his wife Mimi Mckenna Donofrio, his mother Catherine Castenova Donofrio, his daughters and son in laws, Lisa and Carl Davis, Laurie and Paul Wilson, Katie and Bobby Moses, his grandchildren, Colton, Carleigh, Paul, Jace, Gizshel, Rafe, Max, Xander, his brother Doug Donofrio, and his sister Patricia Oliver.
