In Loving Memory of Earl Jeffrey Gotwols
February 3, 1952 – October 24, 2025
Earl Jeffrey “Jeff” Gotwols, 73, of Roslyn, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 3, 1952, in Philadelphia to Earl and Edna (Dill) Gotwols, Jeff lived a full and joyful life rooted in family, laughter, and simple pleasures.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Maureen (Mullen) Gotwols; his daughters, Amy (Jim) Wack and Brittany (Matt) Devine; his son, Shane (Allie); and his grandchildren, Talon, Mason, Hailey, Roman, and Holly, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Christopher Gotwols, whom he now joins in peace.
From an early age, Jeff’s love of baseball was clear. He was proud to have played in the Cincinnati Reds’ minor league system and later shared his passion for the game by coaching Little League, where his encouragement and humor inspired countless young players.
Jeff had a gift for making people laugh. He could find the funny side of just about anything and always knew how to lift a mood. He loved history, fishing, music, and spending time with his family—the things that mattered most to him. Whether he was singing along to Billy Joel or The Beach Boys, telling a great story, or casting a line on a quiet morning, Jeff was happiest when surrounded by the people and moments that made life rich.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and his steady presence. Jeff’s legacy lives on in the family he adored, the lives he touched, and the laughter he brought into the world.
