Edward S. Lubicky, affectionately known to family and friends as "The Bicker," passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 82.
Edward lived a life marked by dedication, service, and a positive spirit. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and later devoted many years of service to the United States Post Office before retiring.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Edward treasured his family above all else. He loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing, one of his favorite pastimes. Those who knew him best will remember his sense of humor, his distinctive personality, and his ability to find light even in difficult times. He embraced the motto from his favorite song, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life," a philosophy that reflected the optimism and resilience with which he approached life.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife, Eileen (Lobley) Lubicky; his children, Lisa (Lubicky) Capko and Paul Capko, Daniel and Danielle Lubicky, Edward Jr. and Megan Lubicky, and Chrissy Lubicky; his grandchildren, Katarina O'Connor and Dani, Matthew, and Justin; and his cherished great-grandson, Charles James O'Connor.
Edward's legacy of love, laughter, service, and optimism will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
