Elena M. Masterson

Elena Marie Masterson, of Willow Grove, PA, loving mother to Anastasia and Catarina and devoted wife to Steven Blitman, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025. 

Elena was a brilliant light that left an impression everywhere she went, making every room she was in instantly more fun the moment she arrived. She had a gorgeous smile and was skilled at making everyone laugh. She was a vibrant soul that adored music, dancing, the beach, and throwing a house party or BBQ for all occasions. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was a selfless, nurturing mother and treasured her time spent teaching kids yoga and as a small business owner, ensuring her spa clients felt beautiful. Elena’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. 

She is also survived by her brother Steven, his wife Danielle, mother Sharon, her beloved pets Gizmo  Johnson, Benny Muhammad, Cheekie, and many close aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and thousand of friends.  Elena is preceded in death by her father, Steven and grandmother Teresa.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Friday June 20, 2025 at 10:30am at Queen of Peace RC Church, 820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038 (corner of Fitzwatertown & N Hills).  Visitation will be from 930am to 10:15am.

Following the mass please join us for a celebration of life luncheon from 12:15-3pm at the FOP Lodge, 11630 Caroline Road #3, Phila. PA 19154 in the Heroes Ballroom.

Interment is Private.

Flowers are welcome but not necessary.
