Elizabeth Ruth Muth
June 20, 1936 to June 18, 2024
Age: 87 Prince George, VA formerly of Philadelphia, PA
Elizabeth (Betty) R. Muth (nee Hatch), surrounded by her devoted family, passed into the loving arms of God our Father on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Colonial Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Center under the skilled care of the nursing staff there and their Hospice Center.
She was the devoted daughter of Elizabeth R. (nee Rath), stepmother Hazel V. (nee Ghantt) and Egbert F. Hatch Sr., (all pre-deceased), wife of Conrad Muth (pre-deceased)for 38 years married at St. Cecilia’s Church in Fox Chase, PA. Loving mother of Conrad Jr. (Janice, deceased), Elizabeth (Betty) Samarco (Anthony) and Joseph (Patricia). Happy and jubilant Grandmother/Gram/Great Grandmom/Gigi to nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two more greats soon to be born. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sister to her loving big brother Egbert (Ed) Jr. and two half-brothers, Wayne and Robert (both pre-deceased).
Betty was a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved everyone she met, and all loved her right back. She was such an amazing and special soul. Her kindness and love will live on through everyone with the example of these spectacular gifts she shared with each of us.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Friday evening July 12, 2024 at 7:30pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Rd., Willow Grove PA 19090. There will be a visitation before the service from 6pm to 7:15pm.
