Liz Pileggi dedicated her life in service to others and encouraged giving back to the community. From decades of volunteering for various organizations including Saint Francis Inn in Kensington, Caring for Friends, and Glorei Dei Retirement Communities, to starting an English sponsorship school in India for disadvantaged children, her love touched others beyond measure. And forever will.
Guided by her strong faith, she prioritized these values, raising her family with a true devotion to her children and grandchildren.
She enjoyed summers in Ocean City, NJ walking "the boards,” playing scrabble and board games, and heartfelt conversations on the porch with her family and friends over endless cups of coffee. An avid tennis player, she amassed a number of trophies over the years and passed on the love of the sport to her children and grandchildren. Simple walks thru Peddlers Village and cruising the clocks at her favorite German store always made her smile.
She is preceded in death by her dear mother and father Margaret and John and her loving brother Anton. Surviving her is her husband Thomas, her two siblings Adele and Johnny, her four kids Lisa (Ernie) Jim (Debbie), Suzie (James), Ted (Carmela), 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Her beautiful and playful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her beloved family and cherished friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday October 23, 2025 from 9:30am to 10:45am at Queen of Peace RC Church, 820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
