Francis J. “Frank” Calter of Willow Grove passed away the evening of Tuesday, December 10th after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was 82. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Calter, and his three daughters, Mimi, Franny, and Jess.
Frank was born August 22, 1942 in Philadelphia to Francis and Marie Calter (nee Collins). After a brief time in the US Army, Frank received his BA in Architecture from Drexel University and worked for much of his career as a registered architect in design firms, specializing in interior design. Later in his career he worked as an architect for the State of New Jersey.
Frank’s legacy of love, generosity, and community spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday December 17, 2024 from10am to 11am at St. David RC Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
Interment will be on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 10:15am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940. (Please meet at the visitor center)
