Frank Joseph Davis, 90, of Willow Grove, passed on May 27, 2024.
He was the husband of the late Edna M. Davis (nee Hill).
Frank Joseph Davis, known to his friends and family as Joe, grew up on a farm in New Jersey, and originally dreamed of becoming a football player. A man of deep faith, he studied at Philadelphia College of Bible. His family was everything to him and he held more than one job to provide for them. Using his knowledge gained on the farm, he developed his own landscaping business. As the business grew, Joe’s two sons joined to share in the hard work. Joe was also heavily involved in horticultural education in Upper Moreland. When his son Jamie took over the business day-to-day operation, Joe continued working for the business. Joe retired when he chose to devote 100% of his time to caring for his ailing wife.
He is survived by his children Rickie J. Davis, Jamie A. Davis (Cynthia), and Sandra C. Davis (Sandra), his grandchildren John (Christine), Robin (Josh), Julianne, and Olivia, his great grandchildren Anna, Julie, and Michelle, his brother Tom Davis, and his sister Margaret Davis.
He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Linda Davis.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on June 8, 2024 from 930am to 1015am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Rd, Willow Grove PA 19090. A Funeral Service will follow at 1030am.
