Gerald J. Comber

Gerald Comber, 64 passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 5th, 2023. He is survived by his mother Marie Wirt (Moran) and predeceased by his father Joseph Comber and his step-father Paul Wirt. He is also survived by his 4 children Ryan, Kerri, Ian (Julie), and Connor. He was dearly loved by his two grandchildren Delaney and Quinn. His 3rd grandchild is due to arrive next month. He was the cherished brother of Eileen (Joe) Lequick, Joseph (Geraldine), and Barbara (Al) Brinkman and uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jerry was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School. He spent his summers growing up in Wildwood, NJ and enjoyed bringing his own children there during their childhood. He loved sitting outside, reading books, and watching his favorite sports team the Philadelphia Phillies. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren who lovingly called him Pop.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Thursday June 8, 2023 at 4pm at the John J, Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  There will be a visitation before from 3pm to 4pm.
