Gerard "Jerry" Ryder

Gerard “Jerry” Ryder, 84, of Roslyn passed on January 31, 2025.

He is survived by his wife Jeanette Ryder (nee Tribuiani), his children Suzann (Stephen) Joyce, and Andrew Ryder, his grandsons Michael Joyce and Matthew Joyce, and his sisters Maryann (Robert) Schmidt and Martina (Joseph) Benedict.

He was preceded in death by his brother James Ryder.   

Jerry was a graduate of North Catholic High School and worked for several years at the U.S. Postal Service.  He also worked at the Social Security Administration, retiring from the North Broad Social Security Office in Philadelphia.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Thursday evening February 6, 2025 from 6pm to 7:30pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. Words of Remembrance will follow at 7:30pm.  Funeral Mass Friday, January 7th  at 1:00PM at St. Luke the Evangelist Church 2316 Fairhill Ave. (at Easton Rd.) Glenside, PA 19038.
