Helen Frances Clauss Uebele, age 100, of Newtown, PA passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024, in Franklin, TN surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Helen was born to Frank and Mary Urbanek on October 5, 1923, in Philadelphia, PA and was the youngest of four children, Joe, Stephanie, and Ed. She was married to the love of her life Edwin (Ed) Clauss until his passing in 1962 and was later remarried to William Uebele. Helen is survived by her son, Ed, his wife Lisa and her two grandchildren Emma (Nick) and Laura.

Helen graduated from Simon Gratz high School and worked as an administrative assistant to the general manager of the Budd Company until she was married to Ed following World War II.

Helen was a wonderful homemaker and mom and stayed at home until her son went to college. Helen moved to the beach in North Carolina for 10 years and then returned to Pennsylvania to help care for two older brothers. Helen, who was an avid reader, worked in a bookstore and gift shop at Peddlers Village in New Hope PA for over 20 years.

Helen was a great mom and grandmother, who loved her family dearly.

We will miss her dearly but find comfort that she is reunited with her loved ones and with Jesus in heaven.

There will be a private visitation at the Bryers Funeral Home in Willow Grove, PA followed by a mass at St. David’s Catholic Church.
