Herman J. Anderson

Herman J. Anderson Jr, Age 89, passed away peacefully at home. He was a lifetime member, commander and chief, treasurer and santa of the McKeown Zane Post 1711 VFW.
He was the beloved husband of Claire B. Anderson of 64 years.

He is survived by his three children, Mary Ann (Dennis) Alig, Brigid Anderson Heyser and Joseph (Wendy) Anderson.
He was a loving Grandfather to Jocelyn (Wayne) Lewis, Samantha DeSantis, Kristin Smith, Nicholas (Sarah) DeSantis and Christopher Anderson. And he was an amazing Great Grandfather to Wayne D. Lewis Jr. and Lilyanna J. Lewis aka Noisy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass on Tuesday September 1, 2020 at 10:30am at Queen of Peace RC Church, 820 N Hills Ave, Glenside, PA 19038.  

Visitation in church from 9:30am to 10:15am.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated. 

Interment will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
