Hilda Iglesias Suarez

Hilda Iglesias Suarez, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She was the beloved wife of the late Aristides Suarez who passed away in 2007. Hilda is survived by a sister, a brother, 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-children.

Hilda was born and raised in Cuba, moving to the United States with her family in 1974. In her early years in Cuba, she developed a passion for sewing and worked as a seamstress before moving to the United States. Once in America, she worked at PCI for 15 years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren.  Known affectionately as “Abuela” she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 at Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  Burial Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations in her name to Alzheimer’s Association.
