James Richard Donahue

James (Jim) Donahue, 66, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2023.

Jim was born on July 16th, 1957, to Helen and Thomas Donahue in Bristol, PA. He graduated from Olney High School in 1976 and dedicated over 25 years of his life to working for Pecora Corporation. In 2023, Jim retired from his position as a Courier at Temple University.

Jim's love for his family was boundless. He leaves behind three beautiful daughters: Jaime (Albert Jr) Johnson, Ryan Ann (Robert) Schlanger, and Emily Donahue. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Andre'a Donahue, Caiden J. Donahue, Thomas Schlanger, Daniel Schlanger, and Briahna Donahue. Additionally, he held a special place in his heart for his great-granddaughter, Laila Woods. Jim considered Kayden Hagan, Ciara, and Tyler Johnson honorary grandchildren, and his love for them was immeasurable. He cherished his lifelong friendship of over 40 years with Karl Klabe.

Jim was an avid bowler in the Blue-Chip League at Thunderbird Lanes in Willow Grove. On July 21st, 1994, he achieved a proud milestone, bowling a perfect 300 game. He was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan, Jim loved cheering on his favorite teams. He found solace and joy in fishing alongside his brothers and grandsons.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Steele, his father, Thomas Donahue, and his birth father, Joseph Stallone. He is also preceded by his brothers, Francis Donahue and Joseph Stallone II. He is survived by his sisters, Lorraine, Nancy F, Ellen, Nancy K, Suzanne, and Tina Marie, as well as his brothers, Thomas, Vincent, and Jacob. Jim's love extended to his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, who will always hold a special place in their hearts for him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday October 18, 2023 from 10am to 11am at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090.  A Funeral Service will follow at 11am.

Interment is private.
