Jenny Culbert, a lifelong resident of East Mount Airy, Philadelphia, passed away peacefully August 10 after battling cancer with grace and strength. Jenny was a beloved teacher who taught Kindergarten for almost two decades at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, after serving as a Pre-K teacher at Abington Friends School. She began her teaching career at Germantown Friends School, working as a lower school Assistant. Jenny touched the lives of many through her innovative teaching and unwavering dedication to her students over a 30 year period.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara, her brother, Stephen and sister, Rebecca.
