Jetta Mae (Felio) Porter
Jetta was born in 1928, in Hartford, CT, and was raised in Burlington, VT, by David and Theresa Felio. She was working for General Electric in England when she met and married Robert H. Porter, who preceded her in death. When they moved to Horsham she worked for a time at Keystone, Franklin, Inc., in Plymouth Meeting, before retiring.
She was extremely involved in her church, St. Catherine of Siena, Horsham, as a long term coordinator of the Extraordinary Minsters, as a lector, a member of the Holy Dusters, and as a faithful worker at the carnival. In her later years she was a dedicated supporter of the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry at St. Catherine.
Two sisters, Mae Rockwood and Elizabeth Louise Richard, both of Burlington, VT also are deceased. She is survived by her daughter Mary and her son Robert (wife Amy), as well as three grandchildren and two step grandchildren, and a former daughter-in-law Michelle.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday May 17, 2023 from 10am to 10:45am at St. Catherine of Siena RC Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham PA 19040.
Funeral Mass will follow at 11am.
Interment will be on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 945am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown PA.
