Obituary for Joan E. Bernstein (1931-2023)

Joan E. Bernstein, age 91, of Huntingdon Valley, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at home. Born in New York, NY, Joan was the daughter of the late Max and the late Rose Bruskin, the devoted wife of the late Ira J. Bernstein, the loving mother of Susan A. Egan and Ellen D. Russell and the adoring grandmother of Daniel Egan, Rachel Egan Mansoor, Matthew Russell and Steven Russell.

Mrs. Bernstein had earned her MSW and worked as a therapist for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, to Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ 07652, where Joan’s Graveside Service will begin at 11:30 am.
