John “Jack” Richard Laumeister

John Richard “Jack” Laumeister passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 87. Born in Philadelphia to Harry and Mary Laumeister, Jack grew up in a close-knit family and was preceded in death by his brother, Harry, and his sisters, Dot, Bev, and Betty.

A proud graduate of Lincoln High School (Class of 1956), Jack worked hard throughout his life, holding numerous jobs—including at John Wanamaker in Center City—before concluding his career as a manager for the School District of Upper Moreland. Jack married the love of his life, Patricia, in February 1964, and together they built a home and a life in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, until her passing in 2020. Their marriage was a model of devotion, partnership, and enduring love.

Jack is survived by his two daughters, Renee Bates (Mark) and Susan Franke (John). He was endlessly proud of his grandchildren—Justin, Sonja, Kelly, and Lena—and never missed an opportunity to share stories about them with anyone who would listen.

A celebration of life will be held on January 2, 2026, at John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by a brief service.
