Joseph “Joe” A. Flanagan Jr, 89, of Horsham passed on March 21, 2023.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy M. Flanagan, his children Joseph G. Flanagan, Donna M. Alden (George), and Dan B. Flanagan (Stephanie), his grandchildren Kevin Alden (Tara), Craig Alden, Madison Peers (Timothy), and Danny Flanagan, and his great grandchildren Christian Alden, Brooklyn Alden, and Layton Peers.
Joe was preceded in death by his sister Marie Bade.
Joe was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph A. Flanagan, and Eva M. Flanagan (nee Johnson). Joe was in the US Marine Corp., and served in the Korean War. He retired from SEPTA working as a bus driver for over 35 years. He was also a paramedic in Horsham for several years. Joe loved the Philadelphia Eagles, and Penn State. He was also a member of Chelten Baptist.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Friday April 14, 2023 at 7pm at the John J. Bryers Funeral Home, 406 Easton Road, Willow Grove PA 19090. There will be a visitation before the service from 6pm to 7pm.
