Joseph A. Lavalle

Joseph A. Lavalle, age 63, passed away on January 25, 2021. Joe was a man of God, devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend. Joseph graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Architecture and further obtained his Master of Business Administration from Temple University. Joe was a brilliant architect and nationally recognized expert on the Model Building Code.  He served on the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) Codes & Standards Committee and was an advisor to the Governor on the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Building Code.  Joe was also an active member of his community serving as Commissioner for Upper Moreland Township. Outside of work Joe enjoyed spending time with his family in Sea Isle City, NJ, as well as enjoying Italian traditions such as drinking homemade wine and preparing the seven fish Christmas Eve dinner.

Joseph A. Lavalle is the son of the late Joseph A. Lavalle and the late Teresa G. Lavalle; beloved husband to Teresa Lavalle; loving father to Leanna (Vincent) Micoli and Joseph A. Lavalle Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday January 29th 2021 from 9:30am  to 10:45am, followed by his funeral mass at 11 am at St. David Catholic Church in Willow Grove PA, 19090.

Interment to follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Morrisville, PA 19067 at 1pm

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
