Josephine (Russo) Devers

Josephine Devers (nee Russo) age 94, formerly of Willow Grove, passed away peacefully on December 26th, 2021. Josie was a long-time member of St. David’s Church in Willow Grove. For many years, she enjoyed being a part of a women’s bowling team, taking ceramics classes, and she especially loved fashion. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lyle, whom she married in 1954. She was also predeceased by her sisters Lillian, Nancy, Betty, Mary, Grace, her brother, Peter and her eldest son, Lyle Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine (Barry) and Laverne (Scott) along with 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Josie was a beloved resident of Philadelphia Protestant Home where she resided for 10 years. She will be remembered as a gentle, kind hearted, elegant lady who always had a smile on her face. She will surely be missed by her friends and family. Due to Covid, funeral services will be private.
